Money, meet mouth
So, yeah, I’m the guy that complained about the lack of posts from a large number of authors. I’m also not a guy who will complain yet do nothing if the opportunity presents itself to do something, thus here I am.
I’ll try to be sociable with Aliance and Horde alike (unless I’m killing them..or getting killed by them).
By way of introduction, I am Redrighthand, a level 60 human rogue on the Hellscream server and a member of The Black Anvil Brigands, a guild so amazingly l33t, there are only seven actual members (and 2 of them are just parking there). I also have a rarely played Horde alt, Vyronique. She’s level 20 or 21 or something, an undead warlock and a member of the even more l33t Atrocity Pals guild (only 3 members).
I expect to post about the experiences of a player who is not interested in being in an end-game guild, hates grinding for much of anything and yet is making the best of the post-60 experience. I don’t use add-ons and I don’t put a lot of thought into my spec or my gear. In fact, most of the game…I don’t enjoy (part of the reason Vyronique never got past 21 or whatever. I am done turning in 25 dead animal parts and what-not that drop at a rate of 15%). I only got into the game after I moved and decided this was an excellent way to keep in touch with friends back Chicago-way (as they mostly all play). What I really dig is exploration and hanging out in places I don’t belong. It doesn’t always end well, but it’s still fun.
In coming posts, I’ll cover my explorations of Azeroth (I’m very proud of having uncovered every part of every zone on Red before he was lvl 50), my adventures as a largely non-raiding 60, and the pleasures and perils of having a small guild of friends. That, and whatever I happen to stumble over.
