Anticipa-a-ation is making me… restrained

Veronica’s screenshots set my mind afrenzy this morning in anticipation of the BC content. However, with the massive changes coming, specifically to PVP, I got to thinking… what content should I be focused on with my main until the expansion? Am I spending a lot of time now on content that will be obsolete in a month?

First things first, I’ve decided that the money I was about to drop on a Krol blade is staying in my pocket, as with the level cap being raised, level 58 purples Krol blade will soon be worthless. Same goes for pretty much any BoE equipment upgrades I was planning to make.

I also am a little unclear on this whole “token” system that is replacing the current honor rewards system. Is BG faction going to be obsolete? I am currently trying to grind up my AB rep as I’m almost revered. Am I wasting my time? Will there be level 68 WSG/AB/AV rewards? UPDATE: I found Tseric’s post on the forum here, which basically confirms that yes, BG rep today will be obsolete in a month. I mean… I could go through the trouble of grinding up for BG epix, but… they’re gonna be obsolete in 5 levels or so anyway…

If anyone needs me, I’ll be on my twink.

If you’re close might as well go for it.
AV rep is especially easy to get right now, so I got AV exalted last month, and picked up several offhands for my shadowpriest (I got all 3 heh). You can easily get AV rep even if you’re a hordie like me. I’d just do that one if any.

I’d like AB exalted since the shoulders are nice .. but that’s a lot more work, especially since I just passed into friendly last week.

I think it will take a while to reach 70. Maybe as long as it took from 40-60. I figure these items will still help. But yeah I’m taking it way casual, i’m in a casual raiding guild coalition, hitting MC once or twice a week only, etc. It’s just for fun to see stuff.

The offhand objects for casters from AV will probably be good for some time after level 60… but for rogues, the itemization is just the ring and dagger… I have to imagine there are gonna be green level 70 daggers that will put the existing lobotomizer to shame…

Twink: An attractive, boyish-looking, young gay man. The stereotypical twink is 18-22, slender with little or no body hair, often blonde, dresses in club wear even at 10:00 AM, and is not particularly intelligent.

    Umm, close, but no.

Twink: In computer role-playing games and MMORPGs, twinking refers to outfitting a new character or player with items or other resources that are not normally available to new or low-level characters. A twink in this usage is a type of powergamer and munchkin. The term can also refer to the twinked character itself (e.g., “My twink has all the best gear.”) In its most basic definition, a twink is a character with better gear then they could have gotten on their own.

The Death of the Honour Grind is nigh upon us. All of Azeroth will roar and cheer as joy and relief overwhelms their soul and body.

The Honour Grind is dead and I will be there with to smash its head with a sledgehammer as I invite the vultures to pick at its rotting corpse.

If you didn’t notice from my previous post, I am certainly glad they are doing away with the honour system.

They only people who are sad pandas over the changes are the people who can play 14 hours a day to get to Rank 14. Unfortunately for you, you are but a tiny, little minority of players who have 14 hours in a day to play.

The majority of us who might get to play 3 hours a day or less (and yet pay the same amount per month) will get to dictate the direction of the game.

Bye bye Honour System… we barely got to know ye.

Yes I’m probably stopping once I hit legionnaire. It is just too much. I’m 60% through Blood Guard now.
