Dear Blizzard, Please Fix Eitrigg

This week has been a real rough one over on Eitrigg. First, there was the adventure of the missing NPCs on Wednesday night. Then there were the repeated crashes of Kalimdor, and then of Azeroth, throughout the week, and now, right as we’re going in to try Hakkar again, the server goes down like a cheap hooker: nasty and full of teeth.

So, I’m over on Khadgar, dealing damage with my dwarf paladin, who’s up to a whole level 6, while I’m waiting for Eitrigg to sort out its issues. The problem here is that Eitrigg has several guilds full of really productive, high-profile advocates for the game, but you are quiet when it comes to our badly broken server, we get very frustrated.

Fix it. Before I roll a gnome.

On Dragonmaw, the Battlegrounds are so bugged it’s almost funny. Halfway through the game about half of the alliance guys just became immobile and invincible; we were able to just walk right up to Van surrounded by these paladin-statues, and start working on him…

Of course, when the BG was over, it wouldn’t let me leave and I had to hard-quit my application.

Man, this patch was pretty awesome, huh?

It’s pretty bad on a lot of servers, but there is a benefit to all this. At least they are working out some of the bugs now, instead of when the expansion hits. Sure we all want to play with our new specs and such, but it would be even worse to have to deal with all this crap when people are racing to get to content on the new zones, when even more people are logged in.

So think of this as Blizzard getting things set up for the expansion when it comes.
