Patch Day: I Guess They Can’t All Be Winners.

I had to sit through (an admittedly brief) download just for that? I have enough problems with patch downloaders and patches themselves eating up drive space without them releasing patches for bugs one at a time.

What’s even better is that several people on our server got kicked off the server to download it. Of course as it was just being rolled out it took quite a while to download, even for a 3MB patch.

Anything but funny if you’re waiting for your tank to get back to Old Hillsbrad for the final fight, and he can’t get back online for 45 minutes :/

There were definitely more bugs fixed than that, for one an issue with Druids and entangling roots that started showing up Tuesday/Wednesday night, for one….

What was weird for me was the corruption that occurred at the end of the DL. Never happened before. So I had to restart the whole process again, login>DL>patch. No big deal, but I wonder if the sloppiness is escalating?

Interesting to think about. There have been a number of weird issues lately, such as the guards in Silvermoon City giving directions for Stormwind. You would think now that BC’s out they’d have a little more time for QA.

Actually, I’d think that now that BC’s out they’d have LESS time for QA. ;)

Still, that’s really funny about the guards and their directions. ;)

More things are starting to “evade” combat for me aswell. I’m wondering weather this is due to blizz trying to get around the factor of flying mounts and people attacking things from unusual postions.
