Do not read on if you don’t want to be utterly spoiled as to the fate of your character’s races when the expansion hits!

Now then, with that out of the way, I have to hand it to the folks at WoW.com for uncovering this from the most recent update to the beta (which none of us here at the Azeroth Metblogs are in yet, sadly) – each of the character races will get new introductions in the expansion, and if you’re still thinking it’s not a big deal, you’re missing the fact that a lot of the “where we are now” lore for each of the races is explained in those few opening moments before you take the reins of your character and begin playing.
