Let me stand next to your fire.

The Midsummer Fire Festival has arrived on Azeroth, and with it comes a whole new batch of holiday quests.
My favorite of these quests is one that isn’t actually given to you, but that you have to figure out for yourself. (Or someone can tell you how to do it like I’m doing right now.)
You’ll need to touch all three fires in your rival faction’s major cities. As you do this you will capture a bit of their flame. Each of these flames is an item that begins a quest requiring you to turn it in at one of your own major cities. Once you turn in all three of them you’ll be given the [Crown Of The Fire Festival] as a reward.
Like the shoulders, it doesn’t actually do anything, but it sure looks cool.

Oh hells yes I want this. :) I really appreciate Blizz’s little holiday festivals and quests and little extras like this; they really go a long way to making the game more fun.

I just got the crown (as well as the other items) this weekend. Wow…admittedly, that was a lot easier than expected.

Just got it myself, a very fun quest. We did it in group of five and had a great time. Orc town was the hardest by far, with lots of PVP attacks making it a challenge. Tauren Town and Undercity were pretty straight forward. Especially hard for those in the group who couldn’t vanish/feign death!

we started around 10:30p server time. Later, when turning in the quest, got to make it hard for some hordies who were coming in to IF. Revenge is sweet :)
