Real Life Invaders

On May 10th, I annouced to my household “I will reach 60 before August 13th!”

You see, August 13 marks the end of my glorious WoW-filled summer. Real Life takes over, and I must go back the classroom. No more gaming from the time I wake up until whenever my wrists scream for me to stop. No more instance runs that begin at midnight and go until 3AM on a weeknight. No more logging on at 4AM to find good deals on the AH. I will have responsiblites, and I dread them as much I dread a stealthed rogue in the flag room.

What worries me is that if I do not reach 60 (I am 58 at this posting) I might take out my resentment on my students.

“Ms. H, this assignment is too hard.”

“Shut up before I curse you to the Nether and back.”

Yeah, that’s going to look good an evaluation.

ya know, I would think most of your students would think you were really cool if you said something like that :)

Agreed that would be fun for a student to hear.

Haha, if you do torment your students … I hope you write about your antics … Should make quite enjoyable reading.

Have you ever had any students that play on the same server as you? It would be interesting if you grouped up with them and they didn’t know it, or even better, they went up against you in a BG.

A long time ago, my friends and I were playing a BBS game, and we were convinced that this one guy that kept killing us was our Junior High Biology teacher. We could never really provide any evidence though…

It’s accounts like this that make me wonder.
