So close, yet so far

My deadline has come and gone, and I am still at level 58. Le sigh. The brass ring illudes me because something odd happened at this level.

I ran out of solo-able quests.

So here I am, so close to 60, and all I have are a handful of (Elite) quests, and about 10 BRD quests. Last week, there were only three 60s in my guild, but we merged with Imperium Brotherhood over the weekend. Hopefully, with the larger ranks, I can get some questing done between classes.

The best way to get from 58 to 59 is grinding in EPL and WPL (and there should be solo-able quests in EPL by the river). From 59-60, if you can get into any 60 instance run, you’ll level in 2-4 runs depending on the amount you are rested.

I grinded the cauldrons in my late 50’s. good XP, tons of runecloth and Argent Dawn honor.

Yep, the Tiron Fordring (he’s at about 7,43) quests in EPL are a great way to grind out those last couple levels. Plus they lead to a nice quest item for everybody.

I solo’d 58-60 almost exclusively in the EPL and Silithus. Those twilight cultist quests were great XP

Thanks everyone! I was wondering if there were any quests involving Tiron- good lore behind him and all.

At 58 you should be grinding for rep and exploring those last few unexplored areas. Don’t worry about the quests.

I agree, EPL, WPL, cauldrons – the best way to make those last few levels and get Argent Dawn rep as well. Winterspring, as well, for a change.

EPL, WPL, and Silithus should be your locations of choice (and for farming faction with Argent Dawn and Cenarion Circle!)

But yeah, the same thing happened to me. the 55-60 levels were really slow for me, not because I didn’t play, but because I ran out of quests I could do on my own. Boo.
